Jess update

Baby Jess is home and resting. We picked her up first thing Sunday morning. She has 6 drainage tubes that can be removed in 3 days. She has multiple stiches that can come out in 10-14 days. The first few hours were rough. Her pain injection must have worn off and she would not unclench her jaw so we could give her a pain pill. Finally around 2 Pm she took a pill and then fell asleep. I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and comments. Even though she is a dog, she is much more than that to me so I thank you all.

aww poor jessjess she's so cute. Nick's dog was attacked by cayotes not long ago and just had to go through the same stuff his attack was really bad. they were basically eating his stomach open and their dog was lying on its back in shock while he was getting eaten but luckily he got saved.

glad she will be ok. but i hope she is not in too much pain during her recovery.

dogs are sooo much more than jsut dogs. they really become a part of the family. and they all have such diff. personalities.

poor girl.

OMG! I am glad that Nick's dog is ok. It is just awful. It was hard enough seeing the bite marks on Jess's neck I could not imagine what Nick and Rose saw.
